- Casual Fridays are for interns. Always dress professionally.
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Honesty is respected, but if you pretend you can handle a job you don’t understand, you won’t be.
- Don’t play the blame game. When something goes wrong, get to the bottom of it and find several possible solutions. Whining and blaming others serves no one.
Business leadership requires a combination of good communication skills, great people skills, and a rational mind. As long as you stay at the top of your game, your career in management will go far.
