- Don’t use double opt-in confirmations, they will kill the growth of your email list
- Always include unsubscribe button or you will get manual unsubscribe requests that waste your time and result in more spam button hits
- Email your list every 1.5-4 weeks, any more and you will annoy most types of potential clients and any less you will be forgotten about
- Deliver something of value in at least 60% of your emails to keep professionals on your list and addicted to your brand
- A great way to introduce some products to your list is to make up a list of top 15 resources within a niche and have 3-5 of those be commercial products that are for sale, while the rest are free resources
- In some markets 5 opt-ins a day of very qualified potential clients is great, in others 50/day can be disappointing. Consider the traffic quality before judging the quality too much, test conversion rates.
